Welcome!!

Here I am, making my first post for my product The Floss Inn. This has been a journey for sure! Every time I thought I had this thing figured out a new problem arose! LOL but such is life right?

I am super excited about this and personally think it could be a game changer when embroidering! I am not one of those people who embroiders all the time but in my decades of needleworking I have often, ok always, been incredibly disgruntled when embroidering because I would have a wad of floss and was not in the mood to wrap each one around a cardboard bobbin once more! Then there are the extra strands! ugh!!!!!

So I thought and thought about how I could make it easier to get floss and keep floss without wasting such time and energy. Brain churning. I wanted to enjoy the embroidery process more!!

I finally came up with this. Wooden bobbins placed in the perfect sized plastic pocket with a reinforced hole where the floss cam come through. You pull that floss and cut where needed, and then clip. The excess strands go in a finger sized pocket right above the bobbin pocket!

Then there is a pocket for embroidery scissors, and also a piece of felt sewn down to act as a needle holder! Roll it up and you are ready to go! Perfect for sitting on the couch and embroidering, or taking in the car, or on a plane for a trip. I

For my real test flight, so to speak, of the product, I grabbed an old cross stitch project I had. It was a horse picture I had bought several years ago. I was heading to Washington, from New Mexico, to be there for the arrival of my second grandson. Our cars are not working so I took a greyhound and was super excited to try it out on the bus. I made a 40 pocket floss holder for this as there were 38 colors of floss for this horse picture!!!!

Well I shortly realized it was a very big project and I was not into it! LOL Upon my arrival in WA I walked a couple miles to the nearest Joanne's and got some colorful embroidery floss to embroider on some cut off jeans I have.

Here is my organizer with the horse colors up top and bright new colors below!

Continued tomorrow!!!
